Santa Clara Valley Water District Qualified Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan

The Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan (GHGRP) for the Santa Clara Valley Water District (Valley Water) outlines a comprehensive strategy to reduce Valley Water’s GHG emissions and show consistency with the state’s climate goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2045. The GHGRP aims to reduce GHG emissions through various measures, including a transition to zero-emission fleets, water conservation, electrification of facilities, a requirement for zero-emission fuels in construction contracts, and other sustainability measures.

Ascent prepared an EIR for the Floating Dry Dock Replacement and Waterfront Improvement Project, an expansive port facility adjacent to San Diego Bay. The project is designed to address existing deficiencies related to the age and condition of structures, shoreline sloughing, and outdated operational conditions at the existing dry dock at the Port of San Diego.
