As a climate change analyst, I support local governments and agencies with climate action planning. In addition to my focus on mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, I am passionate about the issues at the intersection of climate, housing, and health. I believe it is critical to center equity in climate action planning and am excited to be a part of a team that strives to do this each day. My passion for sustainability and climate action started while working in the fashion industry, when I began learning about the social and environmental impacts of the garments we wear. As I learned more and my interest broadened beyond sustainable fashion, I found myself most passionate about everything I was learning related to climate change. I knew I wanted to make a career pivot and focus my work on accelerating climate action, so I decided to go back to school to complete a masters in climate science and policy at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego. It was the best decision I could have made! When not working, I love to hike, do yoga, go on city walkabouts, and watch indie films.
