Andrew Beecher

With expertise as a project manager, technical lead, decarbonization strategist, and sustainability planner, I have diverse experience in emissions accounting and reduction strategy development for public and industrial sector clients. Most work has been in the California regulatory and CEQA context, helping clients align with statutory and regulatory requirements. I have also worked in voluntary carbon accounting with industrial clients throughout the United States, developing cost-positive decarbonization scenarios and communicating these to stakeholders. My climate planning experience includes GHG inventories and forecasts of various scales, as well as GHG reduction planning. Industrial experience includes GHG verification services for oil and gas production facilities and fuel suppliers in conformance with the AB 32 Mandatory Reporting Regulation and the California Low Carbon Fuel Standard Program. I also worked with software developers and site operators to automate site-level carbon accounting and emissions reduction planning for voluntary ESG reporting.

Outside of work, I cling to my youth by continuing to surf, skate, and dirt bike. However, I am mostly fulfilled by spending time with family and friends.
