Like many who work in biological fields, throughout my life I have always felt drawn toward the outdoors and natural environments. Combining the ability to work in a variety of natural resource systems with complex problem solving is what makes me grateful to be coming to work each day as the Director of Biological Services here at Ascent. I seek to apply my diversified project background to assist our clients in navigating an ever-changing regulatory environment with multiple resource agency partners from local to federal. My goal is always to ensure that projects supported by our team are guided through these processes efficiently using the most up-to-date regulatory information and project precedents available and that all biological resources are appropriately analyzed and addressed. In my role, I am also motivated to leverage and build upon the many strengths of Ascent’s Biology practice to continue to expand this technical service and provide innovative solutions for client needs as well as opportunities for our staff throughout Southern California.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and two daughters. We are always looking for new ways to enjoy the outdoors in San Diego.
