Reida Khan

Having grown up in the north Bay Area, I’ve been fortunate to have spent a lot of my time exploring the nearby trails, beaches, forests, and hills. My desire to be kind and considerate of the environment was sparked at a young age, and as I grew older, I became increasingly interested in making a positive and lasting impact in an environmentally oriented role. I graduated with a degree in environmental studies from UC Santa Barbara (go Gauchos!) and found myself in the environmental consulting industry where I’ve developed skills pertaining to environmental planning. Throughout my time as an environmental planner, I have become well versed in preparing a variety of environmental documents in compliance with CEQA (and sometimes NEPA). In the CEQA realm, I’ve gravitated toward parks and open space, recreation, and wildfire resiliency projects. Recently, I have been dabbling in air quality and greenhouse gas emissions modeling (just to spice things up!).

Outside of work, I love spending time with my friends and my cat, JoJo, making and drinking coffee, traveling any chance I can, going to the movies, playing board games, or doing something creative like taking photos—I take my film camera everywhere!
