My journey to becoming a senior project accountant began in college, where I discovered I really enjoyed my accounting classes. From there, I eventually found my way into construction accounting. I loved working on projects, seeing them go from plans on paper to something tangible. I also enjoy handling the financial side of things for complex projects. It’s not just about formulas and crunching numbers; it’s also about working with a team to make sure everything runs smoothly.
On the home front, I recently started a new chapter in my life by becoming a dad. Navigating these new responsibilities has introduced a welcome layer of complexity and purpose to my life. In the evenings and on weekends, I enjoy getting out on leisurely walks with my family and dog, Starfox, riding my bike around the city, or taking long cruises up into Marin County. I’m a bit of a road trip enthusiast, too. National parks are my go-to, and there’s nothing quite like the thrill of car camping under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of nature.
