My role at Ascent is a hybrid of planning and natural resources. My specialties include wildfire resilience and transportation planning. As well as doing biological surveys, I am an ISA-certified arborist and have a background in forest and tree health. In my previous jobs, I worked in prescribed burning with California State Parks and in wildfire at Klamath National Forest. I have done forest management and timber harvest with Swanton Pacific Ranch and Sierra Pacific Industries. I also have a background as a biologist for Caltrans and USFWS.
On weekends, I am either camping, sailing, or spending quality time with my friends and family. On weeknights, I like to unwind by working out, cooking, and painting.
