Taelor Whittington

My appreciation for nature started as a child growing up in the rural foothills of the Sierra Nevada. By high school, I knew that my life’s purpose was to protect the environment for the plants, animals, and humans who rely on them. As an environmental studies major with a focus on plant sciences, I have a background in botany and native plant restoration. Aside from getting paid to do what I enjoy, searching for and identifying plants, I also prepare environmental document sections in accordance with CEQA and NEPA, and other regulatory compliance documents.

In my free time, you will find me in the garden, hiking, or cooking up a new recipe that requires far too many ingredients.
