Growing up in the South, I developed a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of people and the planet. Experiencing frequent extreme weather firsthand sparked my interest in climate and weather and inspired a lifelong commitment to understanding and addressing the climate crisis.
My passion lies in working with local communities and governments to promote climate awareness and empower action through adaptation, mitigation, and resilience planning. During my undergraduate studies in Vermont, I collaborated with organizations such as The Climate Consensus and Middlebury College to advance these goals. Seeking to deepen my expertise and accelerate my impact, I pursued graduate studies at Northern Arizona University, where I’m currently completing a master’s degree in climate science and solutions, along with a graduate certificate in greenhouse gas accounting. This journey has been incredibly rewarding and ultimately led me to join Ascent.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, playing tennis, gardening, and cooking for friends.
