Kari Zajac

I have always been passionate about spending time outdoors and aspire to make that experience accessible for others. At Ascent, I specialize in CEQA and NEPA documentation for projects that provide increased active transportation and recreational opportunities through trails, open space, and parks. During my years as an environmental consultant, I have gained experience managing and preparing a variety of projects for both public and private sector clients. I bring my strong background in environmental science coupled with project experience to consider economic, business, scientific, and political perspectives when solving environmental problems.

Outside of the office, you can find me hiking the Sierras, challenging someone to a tennis match, baking chocolate chip cookies, or speedwalking to the nearest boba shop.
