Jessica Mitchell, AICP

I’m an environmental planner and a big fan of the outdoors. What I love most about my job is the interdisciplinary nature of my work and the variety of people I get to work with, but especially helping agencies attain their environmental protection goals. I find purpose in contributing to the bigger picture: maintaining and improving environmental health on the planet.

Outside of work, you’ll find me exploring the many amazing areas that Tahoe has to offer. One of my favorite escapes is hiking with my dog, Bowie, and one of my favorites is along the Tahoe Rim Trail that goes from Big Meadow to Dardanelles Lake. I also dabble in a bit of mountain biking and rock climbing and new experiences, always seeking a balance between adrenaline and serenity. At home, I’m a DIY enthusiast and love playing board games and inviting friends over for dinner.
