I take great pride in the work Ascent is doing to help address some of the most pressing challenges facing California, such as climate change, affordable housing supply, and wildfire. Among other roles, I help lead our efforts in the wildfire and forest resilience sector to help the state increase the pace and scale of vegetation treatment that protects communities and resources from high-intensity wildfire. What I enjoy most about my job is the opportunity to collaborate with smart and caring individuals who share a commitment to making a positive difference in our communities. I am equally motivated by the meaningfulness of the work itself and the relationships that develop along the way.
When I am not working, I spend time outside with my family. Whether I am tending to my garden, hiking and camping in the mountains, or swimming and paddling in any nearby waterway, I find great joy in connecting with nature and staying active.
