As a planning and environmental consultant over the past four decades, I have worked on various public and private projects in the western United States. I enjoy this mix of project types and shepherding the full life cycle of projects through feasibility, design, environmental, entitlement, permitting, and construction. Whether the project involves policy, residential, commercial, industrial, hospital, or recreational land uses, or the provision of important infrastructure including water systems, roadways, transit, rail, mining, or communications, every project has a story to be told. I’ve been fortunate to be involved in shaping them.
My current focus is on streamlining the entitlement process for affordable housing projects. I believe in involving all parties in creating a cohesive narrative to achieve successful outcomes. Providing high-quality natural and built environments is extremely fulfilling. As a grandparent, seeing my grandsons play in the parks that I helped bring to life is especially gratifying.
I love guiding projects from feasibility to construction, finding creative solutions to complex problems, and working on a variety of projects. Overall, it’s been a rewarding career that has allowed me to contribute to the community and make a difference.
