I embody and am proud to wear the monikers of CEQA Geek and NEPA Nerd and enjoy helping our clients define environmental compliance strategies, solve their most complex environmental challenges, minimize the environmental footprint of their projects, and make the best possible informed decisions. I try to build professional relationships for the long term and seek to be the first and last person clients think of when a CEQA/NEPA issue arises. I enjoy leading collaborative teams that work together toward a common goal and am motivated by my talented coworkers, interesting projects, and new challenges that allow me to continue growing professionally. I also enjoy giving back by mentoring and educating, including as an instructor in the CEQA Practice Certificate program with UC San Diego Extended Studies. As an avid mountain biker, if I could combine my personal and work passions you might find me planning, evaluating, permitting, and building environmentally responsible bike trails! If I could pick one of Ascent’s core values that I most relate to, it would be “Care and Be Kind” because there is no reason why we can’t enjoy our work, the people we work with, and our clients while being considerate and thoughtful to one another in the process.
